Compensation:
Weekly Travel Contract: $2,600 weekly. (Hourly Travel Stipend)
Local Contract: $61.33 per hour
About the Position:
Nightingale's List is seeking a qualified Recreational Therapist to join our team at a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilation facility in Stockton, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing therapeutic recreational programs for diverse populations, with a focus on promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of work experience
REQUIRED State or National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
Previous experience in a correctional facility or similar setting is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Facilitate group and individual recreational therapy sessions.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality protocols.
