The Development Coordinator Position

SCC seeks part-time support in its fundraising and development efforts to help manage various tasks and activities. This position will support the board and the executive director in administrative tasks to help ensure good experience for our donors and accurate data for our leadership.

Tasks

• Perform prompt gift entry, tracking, and acknowledgement of gifts and pledges, including corporate matching and in-kind gifts.
• Support the cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship plans for individual donors.
• Prep, assemble and mail communications (such as event invitations, holiday cards, thank you cards, community update letters, etc.)
• Provide support for annual giving events

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative team player who is comfortable seeking guidance as needed.
• Flexibility, creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• A minimum of one year of administrative office experience.
• Fluency in MS Office and Google Suite
• Ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines.
• Excellent time-management and prioritization abilities.
• Previous experience using a database a plus
• Previous experience in a social service agency a plus.
• Familiarity with the relationship-based Moves Management fundraising model a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
