Job Responsibilities:
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Career level, fully competent Geophysicist responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting or coordinating detailed phases of work for part of a major project or total of a project of moderate scope and complexity.
Direct and supervise field staff to sample, test and collect data and/or document site activities.
Responsible for developing written proposals to clients for both small and large projects including quality control review of proposals written by others.
Compensation:
$90K - $125K Annual Salary
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics.
Minimum 3-6 years’ experience.
Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
Ability to obtain registration as a Professional Geophysicist based on state specific requirements. California registration preferred.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Technical Requirements:
Experience performing geophysical exploration utilizing seismic (Refraction, Reflection, MASW, ReMi, etc.), resistivity, acoustic (AMT, HSAMT, DAS), and radar.
High level proficiency in written and verbal communication, including proof reading and editing.
Familiarity with related technological developments and be able to integrate new technology and methods to improve program effectiveness.
Ability to lead small teams and mentor junior level Geophysicists.
Evaluates complex geophysical data and assembles professional level, written reports.
Other miscellaneous qualities:
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs.
