Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Delivery Dispatch & Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of Home Delivery. As the Manager, you will be manage the end-to-end process of Joyleaf's delivery operation from the Roselle store location. This includes managing the daily routing and dispatching of orders using our delivery system. You will also manage the service interaction with drivers and customers to ensure a high-quality experience. This position reports directly to the President of Operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work directly with senior leadership to establish Joyleaf's home delivery operation that has not yet launched.
• Become proficient in delivery systems and own all aspects of the technology.
• Manage the planning and set up of zones, order capacity, time windows and staffing
• Will be responsible for the daily dispatching routing of orders to the delivery staff
• Partner with the fulfillment team to ensure proper order hand off and planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in a similar role in home delivery operations
• Strong knowledge and comfort managing delivery systems and settings
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong Customer centric attitude to ensure great service levels
• Independant business thinker
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage under a compliant environment

Description of Work Environment:

The position requires work at irregular hours, e.g. evenings and weekends, overtime, alternating shifts. Delivery operations will largely run from 12-8pm daily.
