Position OverviewThe Quality Manager is responsible for overall compliance with AAE’s quality system, including tools, work instructions, and inspections and to release only quality products meeting customer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain the company’s quality procedures, and standard specifications, creating and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
- Manage the workflow and assignments of the quality technicians.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality assurance processes, and solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met.
- Lead problem-solving meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives, working to eliminate waste and improve quality, utilizing lean philosophies and 5S tools.
- Calibrate tools in accordance with AAE and industry standards.
- Complete quality documentation as required.
- Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures.
- Experience with quality standards and tools.
- Ability to proficiently use and read measuring equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to complete tasks on time as required.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- A minimum of two years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
