Supports the Pet Food Division with Product Life Cycle responsibilities tied to product creation, product management and product deletion.
This is a Salary Exempt Position
Supports the Pet Food team in the product set up process including all critical data points needed to effectively create an item within our systems.
This could include engagement with sales, marketing, operations, procurement, technical services and IT.
Supports the Pet Food team in product maintenance including status updates or any other critical changes implemented internally or by the customer.
This could include engagement with sales, marketing, operations, procurement, technical services and IT.
Supports the Pet Food team in product deletion which will include any data and system support with item status as well as working closely with sales, demand planning, supply planning and procurement on material deletion to avoid write offs.
Supports the Pet Food team with BOM accuracy projects and initiatives working closely with marketing and technical services.
e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.
Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives : Is familiar with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN);
understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position's role in support of these systems - including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : As required by visiting facility.
Travel : Travels up to 20%. Travel will be limited however must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
Industry Experience : Preferred : Project Management, Regulatory Governance, QA or Operations.
Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree Business or Data Systems or 4 years related experience.
