Alarm New England is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Manager Near Rocky Hill, CT

What you will do:

Responsible for managing the A/R Department as it relates to the Billing and Accounts Receivable functions. This role also serves as a customer service consultant for our customers. Understand our EOS Operating Principles and make them the guidelines for how you do your job.

  • Effectively supervise and manage direct reports on A/R team and provide leadership, motivation and direction while communicating goals and monitoring performance.
  • Provide ongoing training to the A/R staff. Make and implement recommendations for process improvements.
  • Financial accounting and analysis of accounts receivable, sales revenue and sales commissions.
  • Research, analyze and resolve complex customer issues to facilitate payment and customer satisfaction.
  • Work in partnership with operations and sales to address and resolve customer disputes related to billing and payment issues.
  • Identify account risks, potential credit problems, disputes, and other customer issues, communicate potential risks to CFO.
  • Assist A/R team with difficult customer calls.
  • Resolve billing disputes without transferring customers to members from another team.
  • Manage third party collection resources.
  • Ensure systems are properly set up as sold and installed during the pro rate RMR phase using customer set up checklist.
  • Complete projects that require data reporting and analytical skills.
  • Assist with technology implementation, including project planning and management.
  • Overseeing the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization.
  • Ensure that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the company.
  • Perform other duties and assignments that may be assigned from time to time by CFO.

Who you are:

  • Graduate with Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent number of years of experience
  • You have three years of accounting experience in a similar trade organization.
  • Financial Management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,206.75 - $65,281.24 per year
