ASSYST is seeking a highly analytical and problem-solving Business Analyst to join our team for a client in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, and be adept at presenting complex and technical information. The Business Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks including developing and maintaining project documentation, supporting policy development, and preparing comprehensive reports and briefings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be an analytical thinker and have problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing, including presenting complex and technical information.
• Develop and maintain project documentation/artifacts and management reports/dashboards.
• Support the development of Policies, Procedures, and Operations Guidelines.
• Develop tactical roadmaps and plans.
• Prepare reports, studies, and briefings.
• Perform work independently following guidelines within the context of regulations, legislation, industry practices, and County policies.
• Support the timely and accurate preparation of responses to requests for information from relevant stakeholders as needed.
• Work with the Clients team and other departments to implement new programs and services consistent with the clients strategic goals/objectives and the Enterprise Architecture.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices; assess and recommend new solutions, and ensure proper integration into ongoing operations; research, learn, and deploy new solutions; work with experts with the client, Departments, the industry, and vendor community to identify state of the art solutions, which may include emerging technologies; provide advice, direction, and consultative services to stakeholders.
• Perform industry research leveraging the Department's Gartner Research and Advisory contract and/or other sources.
