We are hiring a Recreation Specialist to organize and conduct resident recreation programming.
Status: Part Time or Full Time (24-40 hours/week)
Schedule: Weekdays and Every Weekend, Flexible Hours
Pay Range: $16/hr.-$23.20/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Plan recreation program monthly calendar with recreation staff.
- Implement assigned programs according to department policies.
- Invite and transport residents to recreation therapy programs.
- Document all 1:1 interactions with residents as appropriate.
Job Requirements
- Associates degree in recreation or related field preferred
- One (1) year of prior recreation experience preferred, preferably in geriatric setting
