Performix is Hiring a Programmer Analyst Near Rochester, MN
Duties:
·Weare looking for someone to perform Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)development under the direction of our principal software engineer who isguiding our technical strategy on the Google Cloud Platform.
·Weare building a team of IaC programmers, but the hiring process is taking longerthan anticipated.
·Weneed this person for approximately 6 months with the potential to extend to 1year if the work expands.
Responsibilities:
·ProvidesIT support for vended and custom applications, including resolving highlycomplex issues, and assists with data security, redundancy, and support incollaboration with more senior technical staff.
·Conductsroot-cause analysis by researching hardware environment and softwareapplication and system problems, works with colleagues and customers to resolveissues, documents resolution, and communicates resolution with customer.
·Regularlyreviews applications and makes modifications and/or updates of a single systemapplication or basic software and their associated hardware at multiple Clientsites to ensure currency and functionality within the established environment.
·Contributesto the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom systemsoftware, and/or the installation and maintenance of purchased systemssoftware, as well as the configuration and support of hardware systems acrossClient.
·Producesand maintains documentation such as systems requirements, designs, resourceinventories and plans as requested.
·Interfacesroutinely with colleagues who may be located at any of the Client Grouppractices to perform job responsibilities requiring virtual collaboration andpartnership.
·Maybe required to provide 24/7 on-call support.
Education:
·Bachelor’sdegree and training/experience in technical development; OR, Associate’s degreeand 5 years’ professional experience in technical development.
RequiredExperience:
·Terraform/ Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
·GoogleCloud Platform (GCP) highly preferred
·Bachelor'sdegree in related field with 3 years of experience OR Associate's degree inrelated field with 5 years of experience
