GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, to perform duties requiring knowledge and skill in the area of carpentry in construction and repairs of all school buildings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To construct, alter and repair structures, buildings, furniture, equipment and fixtures made of wood or similar material, as well as, duties directly associated with the construction of the high school. Work to be performed in
accordance with the building codes and standard trade practices; to fabricate alter and repair structural and finish woodwork, floors, stairways and fixtures.
Performs such activities as measuring, sawing, squaring, drilling, sanding, fitting, grinding and fastening, etc. Also performs repairs of such equipment as desks, chairs, tables, shelves and cabinets. Hangs doors and related hardware, repairs windows, frames, screens and performing various glass replacement (glazing). Performs other carpentry duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must be experienced in the carpenter trade.
Must be qualified to perform at heights above thirty (30) feet with the use of a ladder, lift, or bucket truck boom.
Must be capable of performing heavy work as it will be assigned.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years in the carpenter trade.
