Maintenance Supervisor 2nd Shift

The position of MaintenanceSupervisor is responsible for leading and managing all maintenanceroles and processes on 2nd shift in the Ripon WI facilities.

Thisrole is responsible for executing the maintenance processestablishing a reliability focus and ensuring a culture ofcontinuous improvement.

This position also provides leadershipfirstline supervision technical assistance and training for a staffof industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians.

This position is responsible for executing unit goals andobjectives supervising assigned personnel and directing daytodayactivities on their assigned shift.

Duties and responsibilities arecarried out with considerable independence within the framework ofestablished policies procedures and guidelines.

Work and resultsare reviewed through inspection and analysis of records reportscompleted work orders and equipment performance.

This positionreports to the Maintenance Manager.

This is a 2nd shift position. Monday throughFriday 1pm10pm.

Responsibilities

• Create a safety culture and apply andimplement workplace policies.
• Build stronginterpersonal relationships with hourly team members union andmanagement teams.
• Ensure completed work orderscontaining actual hours and completion comments are submitted bythe technicians daily.
• Track analyze andimprove key performance indicators (KPI) such as safety assetutilization maintenance cost PM compliance and schedulecompliance.
• Assist in scoping corrective workorders as needed with the Maintenance Planners.
• Manage and develop weekly schedules for shift techniciansand help prioritize emergency jobs as they arise.
• Evaluate team member performance and encourage continuousimprovement.

Qualifications

Knowledge / Experience / Education :

• Associate degree in EngineeringElectroMechanical or business management is desirable althoughsignificant experience and special training may be acceptable inlieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years maintenanceexperience in a skilled position and 2 or more years of experienceas maintenance supervisor / team leader.
• Knowledge of mechanical electrical and facilitiesequipment with the ability to fluently read and understand printsin all areas.
• Knowledge of manufacturingprocesses and the functionality of equipment (stamping automatedfabrication machining paint process) in those processes.

• Excellentteaming and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be a selfstarter and a team motivator.
• Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Officeproducts
• Be able to work on severalassignments simultaneously and effectively.
• Special qualifications : Ability to supervise a variety ofteam members actions and direct a technical work force to ensurethe facility is maintained in a safe clean and orderly manner.

Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules. Must be the driver ofnew ideas and adaptable to changing technology.

PhysicalRequirements

Stoopingbending standing for long periods of time manual dexterity and ableto lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
