The opportunity
We are seeking for a skilled professional with in-depth experience of contract management to join our team. As a Contract Specialist, you oversee the development, implementation and management of the entire vendor lifecycle and contract management processes within the organization.
Your primary focus is on building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, negotiating and managing contracts, rationalizing contracts and vendors, monitor and manage vendor performance related to services they deliver to BC Ferries, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligation.

What you bring to the team
To be the ideal candidate, you bring 4-6 years of experience working with contract administration, contractual payments, and clerical duties in a government and / or public organization.
You also have a diploma from a Post-Secondary Institution. A Certificate in Supply Chain, Contract Management and / or Purchasing is an asset.

Additional information
The target salary range : $64,300 - $80,400 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
