About the Role:Seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to drive product success. The Product Manager will work with Engineering/Product Development, Sales, Marketing and Support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This includes assessing and refining the product vision, assisting with the management of the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction as well as assisting in developing marketing strategies.
Qualified Candidates Need:
  • 3-7 years of Product Management or Product Marketing Management experience in a SaaS organization
  • 3 years of experience in a job in the Automotive Industry preferred
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Demonstrated experience in Product Launch/Go To Market
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must have experience with cross-functional teams that include Engineering/Product Development, Sales, and Marketing staff
  • Strong problem-solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Ability to effectively interface with customers / understanding the customer
  • Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with executive management
  • Excellent leadership skills
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to inform strategic decision-making processes
  • Help define the Product Strategy, Strategic Vision and Roadmap
  • Serve as primary product expert and evangelist
  • Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects
  • Manage delivery of new products including conducting market research, creating product timeframes and plans, and crafting marketing strategies for new products
  • Create detailed business/use cases, ROI Assessment, business requirements, and design requirements
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
  • Coordinate beta testing of new products and features. Document and report problems and recommend solutions/improvements to Product Owner
  • Participate in product performance benchmarking activities
  • Lead product validation and user testing activities as well as demonstrate current and future software products to prospective and existing customers
  • Assist with product design, strategy, development requirements and release process for assigned products and collaborate with the Product Owner on the product development roadmap
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to identify and deliver prioritized features and corresponding justification to the Product Development Team for implementation
  • Facilitate Go To Market readiness activities related to Executive, Sales, Marketing, Support, Learning, and Administration product release requirements
  • Work with customers and external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities including custom contracts and operational contract management
  • Assist Product Marketing with the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Work with Sales Executives to set quoting guidelines and guardrails to assist with Sales execution
  • Assist Sales in developing sales tools and collateral
  • Provide Product Training to Sales and Operational Teams
