Title: R&D Engineer

Location: Countrywide USA

Delivery Excellence:

Develop and implement global clinical development vendor strategies.

Manage sourcing and contract activities for clinical development programs.

Oversee the entire contract negotiation process, ensuring compliance and maximizing contract value.

Influence and Partnership:

Engage with clinical operations leadership to drive sourcing strategy and compliance.

Establish relationships with internal and external teams to resolve contract issues.

Decision Making:

Develop business solutions and make critical decisions related to vendor agreements.

Recommend global development vendors to senior leadership and resolve project management issues.

Communication:

Exhibit excellent communication skills, training internal stakeholders as necessary.

Capabilities and Requirements:

Expertise in end-to-end sourcing and contracting processes.

In-depth knowledge of clinical research and regulatory environments.

Leadership skills in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Financial acumen for budget analysis and cost drivers.

Legal, clinical operations, and regulatory knowledge.

Ability to travel as required.

Qualifications:

Relevant experience with a BA or MS in a relevant discipline; MBA or JD preferred.

PMP/CPSM certification or equivalent is a plus.
