System Architect, Principal, #765

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

What You'll Be Doing: 

The Systems Architect will be responsible for successfully developing, implementing, and executing strategy for Agile Software development. They will be the lead technical resource and will be responsible for mentoring and guiding other technical resources. The Systems Architect will ensure the successful implementation of initiatives across applications and interfaces. 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
• Experience implementing the MVC Development Methodology (Model/View/Controller).
• Experience designing solutions with a Microservices software architecture.
• Experience with developing and managing data models.
• Experience developing solutions using Message Services.
• Experience with DevOps pipeline tools including configuration management, requirements, automated testing, and deployment.
• Experience developing interfaces compliant with National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) standards.
• Experience designing and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Microsoft Active Directory and Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards.
• Proficient in network communication protocols, ports, routing, proxy settings, and firewall policies.
• Experience designing solutions compliant with the Federal Information Management Security Act (FISMA) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Security Standards and Security Requirements.
• Technically proficient in designing and implementing data center/cloud-based hosting solutions.
• Experience with making architecture recommendations in consideration of lifecycle cost.
• Proven ability to develop root case analysis, problem identification and resolution, and roadmap for problems within system design and implementation of existing and new systems.
• Technical proficiency in optimizing system performance and resource utilization through log and monitoring analysis.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and designing specifications for technical solutions and associated activities.

Required Certification:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional

Our estimated salary range for this position is $100,000-$185,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
