Primary Responsibilities
- Develop marketing and outreach strategies for Healthy Parks Healthy People programs
- Manage social media profiles, website content, blog posts, newsletters, and digital media projects
- Assist in the marketing and communication efforts for the Doggie Ambassador Program
- Support fundraising activities through engaging media campaigns
- Expand the Truckee Meadows Parks Project database with relevant content
- Increase program visibility through traditional media coverage
- Monitor advertising campaigns and engagement metrics
- Dedication to the mission and vision of Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation
- Bachelor's degree or one year of experience in marketing, public relations, or communications
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Initiative, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in social media and traditional marketing tools
- Preferred: Graphic and/or website design experience
- Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish language
- Living allowance of approximately $15,000
- Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of approximately $6,100 or post-service stipend of $1,800
- Relocation settling-in allowance and travel benefits
