Financial Analyst

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BA in business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience and familiarity with developing ad hoc analysis related to business productivity and efficiency.
• Experience in the healthcare industry preferred but not required.

KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate one-on-one with outside clients.
• Ability to explain and simplify financial results to someone who may not have similar acumen.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting concepts, techniques, and principles, specifically the profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
• Experience and familiarity with developing ad hoc analysis related to business productivity and efficiency.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and transition effectively from one task to another.
• Effective time management and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completing financial benchmarking reports.
• Inputting, reviewing, and analyzing P&Ls and other financial reports.
• Effectively and appropriately communicating with internal and external customers.
• Providing training and education to various customers and internal team members on financial analysis.
• Completing administrative functions related to the financial benchmarking process including but not limited to intaking information, generating benchmarking requests, and entering data into Excel.
• Providing other financial analysis support to consultants.
• Creating, formatting, editing, and/or maintaining Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documents.

The starting salary for this position is $70,000, dependent upon skills and experience.
