Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler I. The hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The rate for this position is $19.14 per hour. In this function, you will:
•Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
•May use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices.
•Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams.
•Pick, pack, and pull orders efficiently and accurately.
•Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
•Keeps work areas clean and safe.
•Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:

1. Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout the shop floor and office areas.
2. Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals, and status to the shop floor
3. Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
4. Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
•No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Position Criteria :
•Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
•Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
•Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
