JOB SUMMARY:

The Table Games Dealer shall be responsible for the operation of table games in the casino and shall conduct the games played on the tables in an efficient and responsible manner. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Coyote Valley Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives in accordance with them mission, vision and value statement of Coyote Valley Casino.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

1. Provides prompt, courteous and accurate dealing.

2. Meet and greet the customers in a manner consistent and excellent guest services.

3. Maintain a continuous inspection of cards.

4. Exchange customer currency and deposit paper currency, ensuring gaming chips and monies entrusted.

5. Assist customer in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies and procedures.

6. Report any safety hazards to immediate supervisor.

7. Conduct self in a manner that reflects the casino's values.

8. Must abide by the dress code maintaining the professional appearance of the table at all times.

9. Shall keep the working environment in a clean and safe manner.

10. Must be able to work well with Team Members and leadership.

11. Perform various duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Education/Experience:

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

2. Applicants must successfully complete training.

3. Applicant must be fast and accurate in handling cash.

4. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

5. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

6. Experience working with the public.

Language Skills:

1. Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.

Reasoning Ability:

1. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and Team Members.

2. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

1. Employee must be able to stand stationary for extended periods of time while conducting the game.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

1. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate loud.

2. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase to loud.

3. Must be able to work in an intense environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.

Other:

1. Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
