We are looking for an Optometric Technician to help patients with their eye care needs. You will be responsible for all aspects of patient care and safety while performing optical procedures at our Redlands, CA office. We are a small practice with a lot of potential for growth. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people and wants to be a part of a team. This position is either for full time or part time. Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. The ideal candidate would have experience as an optometrist or ophthalmic technician and be able to perform comprehensive eye exams and assist in other tasks as needed. The goal is to ensure excellent patient experience, maintain equipment, and maintain the safety of the office.

Responsibilities:

• Check in, verify insurance, pre-test patients.
• Assist with frame/lens selections. Write up receipts.
• Check out. Place optical/contacts orders.
• Notify patients for pick up.
• Keep track of all patient information in the EMR system and update it as needed
• Assist other team members as needed (submit claims, faxing records...)
• Keeping office clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• Experience in Optical/Optometry practice is preferred. We will train you on the job.

Compensation: Compensation will depend upon experience but we are willing to train the right person if you have previous experience working in eyecare with excellent performance standards.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
