You might thrive in this role if you are a detail-oriented and analytical thinker with a talent for inventory analysis and reconciliations, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.What you get to do every day- Take part in various department-wide initiatives- Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision- Manage inventory, warehouse overage, freight & warehouse claims, as well as other issues- Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP- Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting- Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable- Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management- Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries- Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll- Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation- Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease- Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations- Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation
