| Essential Job Duties | Post doctoral position in biomedical ultrasound. Lung nodule imaging for surgery guiding. In collaboration with leading experts in the field, you will be at the forefront of developing groundbreaking ultrasound-based real-time methods for detecting and precisely localizing lung nodules, to guide nodule resection surgery. Your research will play a pivotal role in advancing the capabilities of surgical interventions, enhancing patient outcomes, and increasing chance of cure. Duties and ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and innovate ultrasound imaging techniques using ultrasound multiple scattering as a source of contrast, to accurately detect and localize lung nodules in real-time. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of surgeons, engineers, and roboticists to develop state-of-the-art technological solutions. * Conduct experimental evaluations, data analysis, and algorithm development to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the proposed methods. * Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences to contribute to the scientific community's knowledge. |

| Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education | * A recent Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, Physics, Ultrasound or a related field. * Strong background in medical imaging, signal processing, and image analysis. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar. GPU programming is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment. * Prior experience with robotics is a plus. |
