American Cedar & Millwork, Inc. seeks a local CDL driver at our Raleigh, North Carolina, location. 

About the Role: American Cedar & Millwork, Inc. seeks a local CDL driver to join our Raleigh, North Carolina, team. As a key member of our operation, you'll be responsible for all functions and distribution of materials with our company-owned delivery truck, warehouse, and inventory handling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in the shipping of company goods by driving the company-owned delivery truck 

• Maintains delivery schedule and ensures delivery schedule is met 

• Verifies the accuracy of shipments 

• Processes paperwork and signatures of shipments 

• Accurately prepares orders by pulling material from stock 

• Operates forklift/Moffett in a safe and efficient manner 

• Responds to inquiries to provide the status and accuracy of deliveries 

• Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure an efficient and effective work environment. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two years of delivery driving experience 

• Demonstrated safe driving record 
• Must be able to drive stick shift

• Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures 

• Excellent verbal communication skills 

• Basic computer literacy 

• Ability to meet delivery times and schedules with little supervision 

• Valid CDL driver’s license 

• Must meet DOT guidelines for drivers of commercial motor vehicles
