Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Litigator at Law Office of Martha McKee located in Durham, NC. The Senior Litigator will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to law practice, including drafting and filing motions, representing clients in courts and trials, conducting depositions, and providing legal counsel. The Senior Litigator will work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and the legal team.
Qualifications
Expertise in the field of law, including knowledge of legal statutes, regulations, and practices
Experience in drafting and presenting motions, conducting depositions, and representing clients in courts and trials
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel
Detail-oriented and organized
Adaptability and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state of North Carolina
