X Energy is Hiring a Test Engineer Near Rockville, MD
- Work with system engineers to identify testing needs, develop test plans & specifications, and provide oversight of test activities
- Develop test facility design requirements for integrated system testing of key systems by synthesizing applicable system design requirements.
- Engage with vendors to provide technical oversight of testing scope including prototyping, mockups, and factory acceptance testing
- Provide general oversight of internal and external testing activities to verify the technical and programmatic completeness of testing performed
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Ten plus years of experience working in a Test Engineering position or related field
- Experience in the nuclear industry is preferred
