St. Ann's Community is are currently looking for a dynamic Receiver for the St. Ann's Home Dining Services department for the Portland campus. The primary purpose of this position is to receive, deliver and store products for all departments and residents as well as supporting SAC efforts and initiatives in cost containment with sound receiving actions.

Job Description:

• Receives incoming products and insures invoice, purchase order and order record are accurate.
• Signs receipts/invoices for incoming items
• Expedites products received to their departmental storage areas to maintain quality of product requiring refrigeration
• Notifies supervisor if any damages or defects are detected
• Returns product to vendors, obtaining credit memo or signature of return
• Maintains excellent customer relations with resident families, vendors, and department personnel. Assists resident families, drivers, etc. with in-coming and out-going personal items or products
• Ensures that all Quality Assurance Standards are upheld and follows all safety policies and procedures. (HACCP rules)
• Collaborates with Central Supply and Purchasing Manager on deliveries
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly inventories for Food Services and provides documentation
• Assists Lead Receiver in completion of bi-weekly zone audits of walk-ins and storerooms

Candidate Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two (2) years' experience in receiving/stock room work or equivalent
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
• Previous data entry experience preferred
