Vehicle Acquisition Specialist
Department : Sales
Reports to : General Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist sources vehicles from customers who bring their vehicles in for service appointments.
In addition, leverages relationships with previous guests to uncover new purchase opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
- Engage with customers who bring in their vehicles for service appointments, identify opportunities to purchase or trade their current vehicles.
- Cultivate relationships with previous guests who serviced their vehicles with us in the past.
Utilize these relationships to uncover potential purchase opportunities.
Manage a pipeline of potential vehicle acquisitions, from initial engagement to closing the deal.
Follow up with customers in a timely matter and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Negotiation vehicle purchase terms with customers to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record of sales or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to remain in stationary position 80%.
- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
