Duties
- Writes, edits, and finalizes documents in support of federal regulatory actions, for viewing by senior Government leaders and the public.
- Coordinates with rulemaking teams, drafts and edits documents, primarily for rulemaking projects such as Federal Register publications in accordance with the Federal Register Document Drafting Handbook.
- Drafts and edits other documents including reports, articles, briefing papers, in-house studies, congressional reports and memoranda, concept papers, and work plans.
- Prepares draft documents in line with the GPO Style Manual, Strunk and White Elements of Style, and Federal plain language guidelines.
- Coordinates closely with Economists, Environmental Analysts and Project Counsels to draft documents for regulatory actions.
