Savvee Consulting Inc. is Hiring an IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst Near Quantico, VA

Savvee Consulting Inc is seeking to hire an Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst to support our Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) client in Quantico, VA. Qualified candidates will have a logistics background, be a self-starter, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Overseeing of IT asset lifecycle to include; acquisition, receiving, deployment, maintenance/operation, and disposition
  • Managing asset database to track hardware, software, maintenance schedules, etc.
  • Performing inventory management/physical accountability checks on all assets
  • Conducing logistical support to include day-today inventory, shipping, receiving, and deployment
  • Assisting with procurement packages based on asset specifications to include cost information, licensing agreements, etc.
  • Providing asset information required for procurement packages, which includes specifications, cost information (based on specifications), and licensing agreements
  • Managing and documenting vendor information to obtain specifications and costs (quote) information for refreshes and IT procurement packages
  • Performing day-to-day operations within the team comprised of supervisors, program managers, project managers, government leadership, peer consultants, and outside vendors
  • Coordinating with NCIS IT subject matter experts for specifications and licensing information to maintain the baseline and prepare for follow-on/future licensing and equipment
  • Managing and utilizing DoD and DON licensing portals for Enterprise Licensing Agreements and asset management information for compliance and data calls
  • Integrating with other areas of the Savvee team as needed for IT asset management
  • Capturing IT investment requirements and aligning those to the portfolio and budget
  • Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
