Savvee Consulting Inc is seeking to hire an Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst to support our Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) client in Quantico, VA. Qualified candidates will have a logistics background, be a self-starter, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Functions
- Overseeing of IT asset lifecycle to include; acquisition, receiving, deployment, maintenance/operation, and disposition
- Managing asset database to track hardware, software, maintenance schedules, etc.
- Performing inventory management/physical accountability checks on all assets
- Conducing logistical support to include day-today inventory, shipping, receiving, and deployment
- Assisting with procurement packages based on asset specifications to include cost information, licensing agreements, etc.
- Providing asset information required for procurement packages, which includes specifications, cost information (based on specifications), and licensing agreements
- Managing and documenting vendor information to obtain specifications and costs (quote) information for refreshes and IT procurement packages
- Performing day-to-day operations within the team comprised of supervisors, program managers, project managers, government leadership, peer consultants, and outside vendors
- Coordinating with NCIS IT subject matter experts for specifications and licensing information to maintain the baseline and prepare for follow-on/future licensing and equipment
- Managing and utilizing DoD and DON licensing portals for Enterprise Licensing Agreements and asset management information for compliance and data calls
- Integrating with other areas of the Savvee team as needed for IT asset management
- Capturing IT investment requirements and aligning those to the portfolio and budget
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
