Description
New Journey Peer Support Specialist
Our Peer Support Specialists work with clients ages 15-40 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. This position is a vital role providing stability and support during a difficult time in their lives.
You will educate clients on symptom management and community resources, and engage them in identifying their overall goals, personal supports, and strategies to reduce self-stigma of their diagnosis.
This position advocates for the client’s perspective, preference, and treatment goals within team meetings. Peer Support Specialists provide transportation to clients as needed.
