Position Overview: We are seeking a Junior Accountant, preferably a recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, or with a few years of experience. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the manufacturing industry and an understanding of cost accounting principles. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and potential conversion to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Help with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in cost accounting activities, including product costing and inventory valuation.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Conduct audits and assist with internal controls to ensure compliance.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
