AllSTEM Connections is Hiring a CAD Drafter Near Poway, CA
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in CAD drafting techniques and the ability to create and modify detailed engineering drawings. You will work closely with our experienced team to prepare, revise, and verify drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand the fundamentals of creating neat, legible drawings.
- Learn and apply standard CAD drafting techniques to create and modify 2D geometry, text, and dimensions.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings from data such as previous drawings, layouts, sketches, and standard references.
- Revise CAD drawings based on instructions, marked prints, sketches, and change notices.
- Repair or redraw damaged drawings, including re-dimensioning and simple tolerancing.
- Verify completed work, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, materials, and quantities.
- Utilize 2D CAD and schematic capture systems, adhering to industry practices and standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; one or more years of experience as an entry-level drafter (additional education may substitute for experience).
- Proficiency in basic drawing techniques and 2D/3D CAD modeling.
- Intermediate knowledge of trigonometry, algebra, and geometry.
- Sound knowledge of computer operations, Microsoft Office applications, and drafting software.
- Experience with KeyCreator (CADKey) or Zuken E3, or other design tree-based CAD software is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearance is required (No C2C or C2H)

Pay: $23.64 - $28.47 per hour
