We are seeking a seasoned Food and Beverage Manager to help develop the next chapter at The Bishop!

Job Description:

The Food and Beverage Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing, innovating, organizing, and growing our food and beverage services. This role involves overseeing daily operations, curating and executing menus, overseeing wine selection & inventory, providing staff training and education, and maintaining productive relationships with local food systems and vendors. The ideal candidate will be excited about spearheading new initiatives and projects and bringing creativity to the crew.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the food and beverage operations at the hotel, including our daily Bottle Shop menu, in-room dining offerings, wine program, and event catering.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and profitability of the food and beverage service.
  • Curate and execute menus for pop up events, private event rentals and whatever other projects you would like to bring to life.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local farmers, producers, and other vendors to ensure the quality and sustainability of our food supply.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of the food and beverage team. Assist General Manager in service training for all staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
  • Occasional front desk shift coverage and service shifts at the Bishop Bottle Shop.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management.
  • Excitement in leading a team.
  • Strong understanding of menu design, food preparation, and event planning.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Pay: $45,320.32 - $58,170.71 per year
