We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our modern and vibrant salon team. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services to our valued clients. Your expertise should include highlights, balayages, haircuts, and blowouts, along with a keen eye for current trends and styles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various hair services, including but not limited to highlights, balayages, haircuts, and blowouts, to meet the specific needs and preferences of clients.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hairstyling industry.

• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences, and any specific requests or concerns they may have.

• Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on suitable hairstyles, colors, and treatments based on their individual features and desired outcomes.

• Create customized and personalized looks for clients, taking into consideration their face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.

• Uphold high standards of customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable, welcome, and satisfied throughout their salon experience.

• Build and maintain a strong client base by establishing rapport, actively listening to clients’ needs, and consistently delivering exceptional results.

• Collaborate with other salon professionals, such as colorists and stylists, to provide comprehensive services and achieve clients’ desired looks.

• Keep accurate records of services provided, client preferences, and any pertinent information to enhance future visits and maintain long-term client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Hairstylist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in highlights, balayages, haircuts, and blowouts.

• Extensive knowledge of different hair types, textures, and styles, as well as an understanding of color theory and application techniques.

• Proficient in using a wide range of hairstyling tools, equipment, and products.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen attentively and effectively communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced salon environment.

• Up-to-date on the latest trends, techniques, and industry advancements.

• Must possess a valid cosmetology license.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
