Role: Staff Accountant
Location: Pompano Beach, FL/Onsite
Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, general ledger analysis, reconciliations, and assisting with audits. This role will also involve preparing tax returns and providing support for tax planning and compliance.
Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
· Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
· Ability to perform general ledger reconciliations
· Proficiency in tax preparation and compliance
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
· CPA certification is a plus
· Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Thomson, is beneficial
