Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition.
- Provide direct behavior therapy services to clients, including conducting therapy sessions and monitoring progress.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess for autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records of client progress.
- Stay current with research literature and best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care in a compassionate and professional manner.
