Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The position will assist in preparation and submission of Maintenance B1s including but not limited to assist in preparation, trouble shooting and submission of Type B Capital B1s.
This position also supports in invoice payment process and auditing, as well as coordinating efforts related to resolving invoice disputes between unit PIC and contractors.
In addition, responsible of initiation of new blanket contract and renewal of existing blanket contracts.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Maintenance B1 project management :
As the assigned Maintenance B1 project coordinator, coordinate, assist in preparation and follow-up on all aspects of FPC-TX Type B Capital B1 projects with accuracy, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Maintenance invoice process / audit :
As a part of the invoice team, track, review, process responsible Maintenance invoices in a timely manner and with good judgement.
Serve as a gatekeeper by identifying unreasonable charges and work with unit PIC and contractor in resolving invoice disputes.
Maintenance service blanket contract : Liaison between contractor, NJ contracting, and Maintenance PIC with the goal to complete new service blanket contracts set up and renewal of existing blanket contracts.

Accounting :
Assist in addressing any invoice related accounting issues. Work closely with contractor and unit PIC in reviewing and responding to FPC-TX accounting audits.
THM :
Promote cleanliness and order through implementation of the Total house Keeping Maintenance Program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program.
Maintain the plant in like new condition.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Related Experience Required :
A minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of experience in invoice processing / auditing, project management, and contract set up in a petrochemical facility, depending on education.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree with one (1) year invoice processing / auditing, project management, and contract set up experience in a petrochemical facility preferred;
or an Associate’s Degree with three (3) years of experience in a petrochemical facility; or High School diploma or equivalent with five (5) years direct invoice processing / auditing, project management, and contract set up experience considered.
