About the role: A full-time position managing, prospecting, and developing all protein sales activities in assigned West territory by driving sales initiatives with program partner customers in all sales channels for the Meyer Natural Foods brand portfolio of Laura's Lean Products, Meyer Natural Beef & Pork, and MNF private label brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales

• Implements and obtains sales goals set by the leadership team.
• Develops and executes effective customer-specific sales strategies, analyzes relevant data, conducts business reviews, and identifies imaginative customer solutions on behalf of the retail sales team.
• Review weekly sales data, note trends, and provide feedback to sales staff regarding goals, issues, key accounts, and performance metrics.

Account Management

• Develops and manages all branded distribution, regional distribution, and regional chain business to represent retail and food service products within the confines of the assigned territory.
• Manage all regional and corporate accounts in the assigned territory.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and key customers in the assigned territory; establish/reinforce the retail sales team as a partner of choice.
• Assists S/VP of Sales in strategic planning, regional activities, and best practices.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Do you have this reduction and experience?

• Associate degree or combination of experience and education is required.

• 5 years of experience in beef and/or pork sales management and supplier relationship management is required.

Do you have the right stuff?

• Must be a driver of profitable sales
• Strong understanding of protein operations, product specification & distribution systems.
• Strong understanding all local/national competitors in assigned territory.
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Traveling frequently is required for up to 75 % of the work week, while working from home office.
• Ability to lead and operate in sales teams.

Total Rewards: 85,000 to $110,000 annually (DOE)
