JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
We are seeking a HR Leave Specialist to manage and administer leaves of absence and ADA accommodations in compliance with Client's policies and relevant Federal and State guidelines.
This position involves thorough review and management of various types of leave cases, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for all team members.
Candidates will be responsible for maintaining regular communication, timely follow-ups, and where necessary, escalation of cases to ensure effective resolution.
- Oversee and manage the ServiceNow Case Management for leaves of absence and ADA accommodations.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State Medical Leave (FMLA), short term disability, state and local leave, parental leave, and personal leaves of absence.
- Maintain consistent and open communication lines with team members, ensuring a positive leave experience.
- Conduct proactive review and necessary escalation of cases to a third party vendor for specialized handling.
- Adhere to and enforce Chewy's policies along with Federal and State leave guidelines effectively.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- In-depth knowledge of FMLA and ADA regulations.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar case management software.
