Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to direct and manage project activities for a division or business area. The role involves overseeing complex, cross-functional programs from design to production, ensuring collaboration with multiple vendors, and leading contingency planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of project or IT management experience, advanced proficiency in project management tools, and strong analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Direct, manage, plan, and administer project activities within a division or business area.
• Oversee the design, development, and production of complex and cross-functional programs and projects.
• Utilize multiple vendors and ensure effective collaboration.
• Lead contingency planning and risk mitigation efforts.
• Develop, plan, and schedule the development, introduction, communication, and maintenance of all projects.
• Oversee the execution of multiple projects and coordinate/manage dependencies.
• Be accountable for the delivery of program capabilities and business results.
• Resolve issues within the program that do not require sponsor attention.
• Monitor progress to ensure program objectives are delivered on time and within budget, and business results are realized.
• Communicate program performance to program sponsors and the executive team.
• Serve as the point of contact for the program sponsor and a key member of the Governance team.
• Determine the impact of program changes on the business case and re-forecast value creation.
• Identify areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementation.
• Comply with and enforce standard company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent training and education.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
• 8-10 years of project management, program management, or IT management experience, including financial and schedule performance reporting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional and end-to-end IT business processes.
• Experience in all phases of systems development from concept through installation and maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the required technology.
• Master-level proficiency in automated project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Advanced proficiency in analytical, organizational, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
