Summary:

Responsible for leading the accounting team for 3 small divisions in the manufacturing industry. Provide analysis of sales, cost, and profit of all divisions. Assist Executive Team with duties and projects as requested.

Required Experiences:

• Knowledge of Financial Accounting.
• Preferred experience in Sage & MISys
• Any manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting.
• 5 years’ experience in preparing financial audits and budget creation.
• Ability to work independently demonstrating good common sense and sound judgment.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to listen, communicate (written& verbally) excellent communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement processes and technologies that result in data being more timely and efficient.
• Provide monthly, weekly, and daily reporting as requested by various divisions. Reports include sales, profitability, work order detail, job detail, hours worked, and cost detail.
• Prepare detailed monthly P & L and balance sheet reviews /analysis for all divisions.
• Oversee and approve journal entries and account adjustments.
• Prepare weekly job summary reports for all divisions.
• Review monthly financial and general ledger posting for accuracy.
• Prepare/calculate division O/H numbers
• Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated efforts and non-compliance issues.
• Manage accounts receivables to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner.
• Compute sales taxes owed and prepare returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Assist departments in budget preparation and create reporting for actual costs verses budgeted.
• Other assigned duties by management team.

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or sitting for long periods of time.
• Push/Pull/Lift/Moving 40 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
