We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, providing technical expertise and leadership. This is a permanent, full-time position with excellent benefits and the opportunity for career growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical control systems for machinery and equipment, ensuring they are compliant with all relevant safety standards.
2. Create and maintain documentation for all control systems, including schematics, manuals, and programming.
3. Troubleshoot and repair control systems as needed, providing technical support to the maintenance team.
4. Collaborate with other engineers and team members to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex problems.
5. Conduct regular inspections and tests of control systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends, continually improving and updating our control systems.
7. Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Fanuc or equivalent control systems.
3. Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, control systems, and safety standards.
6. Proficiency with programming languages used in control systems, such as PLC and HMI.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and team members.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to create and maintain accurate documentation.
10. Willingness to continue learning and improving, staying up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends.
