Description

Job Title: Part-Time Patient Access Representative (20 hours per week)

Location: Pipestone, MN

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Patient Access Representative to join our team in Pipestone, MN. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors, as well as ensuring accurate and timely registration and scheduling of appointments. This position is part-time at 20 hours per week. Training will occur in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Register patients and verify insurance information

- Schedule appointments 

- Collect co-payments and other fees

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries

- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in healthcare or customer service preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in computer skills and data entry

- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification preferred
