Job Description:

Are you passionate about providing exceptional nursing care to cardiac patients? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Cardiac RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and specialized procedures in a cardiac care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments, applying the nursing process.
• Administer specialized procedures and equipment including cardiac monitoring, care of patients pre/post CABG, and management of specialized medications/drips.
• Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare staff as needed.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care processes.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid RN license and CPR certification.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS EKG certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiac nursing; 5 years preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
