The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for efficiently maintaining the physical appearance of the apartment community’s grounds, pools, and buildings.

What You’ll Do…

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of grounds and common areas such as, but not limited to, cleaning the pool, trashing out vacant apartments, move appliances, watering plants and grass, distributing notices to residents, and assisting with resident functions.
• Remove furniture or big bulk items from/or to trash dumpsters.
• Aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct unsafe conditions.
• Participate in an ongoing community improvement plan and a preventive maintenance program. 

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed…

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 years of property maintenance experience preferred.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Communicate clearly to residents and respond to resident’s service requests and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Can use power and hand tools effectively and safely when completing maintenance tasks.
• Must have time management skills to successfully navigate frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, be accountable for actions, self-motivated.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
