Farnsworth Group is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor in our Phoenix, AZ office. We are excited to be adding Land Surveying to our Phoenix, AZ office and are looking for a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. Qualified candidates will oversee Boundary and Topographical Surveys, Construction Layouts, Subdivision Plats, Right of Way Plats and Descriptions, Parcel Legal Descriptions, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys. This position will include a combination of office and field work if needed and may require some travel.
Specific Requirements include:
  • Licensure: 5 - 10 years as a licensed Arizona Professional Land Surveyor, required
  • Proficiency with GPS, Robotic Total Station and Data Collectors
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ARCGIS, and/ or MicroStation
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and Bluebeam
  • Ability to organize field notes
  • Ability to read Construction Plans
  • Experience performing Boundary Research
  • Ability to execute field staking
  • Strong math skills
  • Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications:
  • Additional State Licensures, New Mexico, Utah Professional Land Surveyor licenses a plus.
  • Drone and Scanner experience a plus.
  • OSHA 30-hour Certification a plus.
