Job Summary: The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor will oversee clinical operations, provide supervision to mental health professionals, and drive business development initiatives. The role involves ensuring high-quality case management, developing a robust portfolio of services, and fostering the growth of subordinate caseloads. This position is integral to the expansion and enhancement of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Supervision and Leadership: Provide clinical supervision to therapists, counselors, and other mental health professionals. Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support clinical staff in case management, treatment planning, and service delivery. Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, providing feedback and facilitating professional development.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand mental health services. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and increase client base. Establish partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote mental health services.

Case Management: Oversee and ensure the quality of case management provided by clinical staff. Develop and implement case management protocols and best practices. Monitor caseloads to ensure clients receive appropriate and timely services.

Portfolio Development: Develop and manage a comprehensive portfolio of mental health services offered by the organization. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging practices, and regulatory changes to enhance service offerings. Ensure services are aligned with client needs and organizational goals.

Promotion of Subordinate Caseload Development: Support and mentor clinical staff in building and maintaining their caseloads. Provide training on client engagement, retention strategies, and effective case management. Track and analyze caseload data to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.

Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for clinical services. Prepare and present reports on clinical performance, service utilization, and business development activities.

Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Licensed as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist) in [state]. Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Strong business acumen with experience in business development and portfolio management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in case management and clinical supervision techniques. Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in mental health services.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a similar supervisory role within a mental health setting. Proven track record in expanding mental health services and increasing client engagement. Certification in clinical supervision. Bilingual skills in Spanish and English.
