Job Details
The Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in the Enterprise Systems team, which manages the company s enterprise applications and endpoint management. This position focuses on enterprise applications, particularly the company s document management and case management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and administer both on-premise and cloud-based enterprise applications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on several enterprise legal applications.
- Maintain and support the company s document management system, including ancillary systems such as email filing servers, full-text indexes, and web servers.
- Ensure the maintenance and operational support of all critical companies-wide applications, including conflicts, docketing, time entry, and financial systems.
- Contribute to the development of a zero-touch workstation build using Intune, MS Configuration Manager, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune.
- Develop, manage, and maintain documentation and change control procedures to ensure proper system security and operations.
- Participate in companies-wide IT projects, system designs, and procurement/outsourcing plans, ensuring compliance with IT best practices, standards, and current architectural plans.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, security, scalability, and recoverability.
- Provide third-level end-user support for enterprise systems and associated software.
- Mentor and train technical staff in new technologies and promote architectural concepts.
- Recommend, schedule, and assist in the execution of upgrades, migrations, and break/fix tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree
- At least 5 years of experience with information systems, including needs analysis, planning, design, implementation, and maintenance.
- At least 5 years of configuration management experience using enterprise tools for an organization with 1,000 or more users.
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM, MECM, Intune, or similar applications for OS image management and application deployment.
- Proven experience in maintaining and supporting enterprise application systems.
- Ability to effectively prioritize a wide range of tasks.
- Experience configuring and maintaining user and computer Group Policy objects.
- Proficiency in the following technologies:
- PowerShell/Windows Scripting
- Office Add-in architecture and configuration
- Windows Server Services (IIS/SQL Server)
- SSO Technologies (SAML, OpenId Connect)
- Active Directory architecture (LDAP, DNS, OU structures)
- Life Cycle management/patch management
