The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is currently accepting applications/resumes for Preschool Teacher Assistants for the Y’s Early Learning Center.

Under the supervision of the Preschool Director and the guidance of the classroom Preschool Teacher, the Preschool Teacher Assistant is responsible for assisting in the delivery of a high-quality educational experience, using the Creative Curriculum, for the students under his/her care.

• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of one-year related experience or proven performances working in a childcare program preferably with children ages 3-5 years old (this requirement may be fulfilled through a practicum or student teaching).
• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or its equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid (must obtain within first 6 months of employment)
